Ostrich

Ostriches are easily recognized by their enormous size, long necks, and powerful legs. Adult males can reach heights of up to 2.8 meters and weigh as much as 145 kilograms. Their strong, muscular legs allow them to run at speeds of 70 km/h for short distances and maintain 50 km/h over longer distances, making them the fastest land birds.
