The Hightower Report said, “December hog prices closed modestly lower yesterday and continue to dance around the 50 day moving average this week. The USDA supply and demand report estimated U.S. pork production for the 4th quarter up 1.6% from year ago and the average live hog price was up $4 from last year.”
